About
What is ChordSine?
ChordSine is a playground for the physics of music, where sound becomes shape. Press keys and see why a major chord looks smooth and a tritone looks jagged. Playing and sound generation run locally in your browser. For the full explainer, see how it works.
What it is not
ChordSine is not a training course, a theory curriculum, or a recording tool. It is an instrument for exploring the visible geometry of notes, intervals, and chords.
Who makes it?
ChordSine is made by Arpeggiator, one note in a growing arpeggio of small, focused products. If you like listening closely, also try Timbre Match, our listening game about the sounds inside a note.
Sustain the playground
